Alright, you just finished your deep tissue massage… now what? 👀

A lot of you guys ask me what you should be doing after a treatment to help get the most out of it, so here are a few things I always recommend:

💧 Get some water in you and stay hydrated
🚶 Keep moving — even a light walk is better than doing absolutely nothing
🧘 A little gentle stretching and mobility work can feel great
🏋️ Maybe don’t go destroy yourself at the gym right after your treatment 😂 Give your body some time to recover
😴 Get a good sleep! Your body will thank you for it
👂 And most importantly, listen to your body

You might feel a little tender after a deeper treatment, especially if we worked on some areas that were REALLY tight. That can happen.

The massage is one part of taking care of your body — what you do afterwards matters too!

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) can be helped by:

Applying hot/cold therapy
Drinking plenty of water
Stretching
